YOUNTVILLE, CA
Seasonal, wine-country cuisine with Mediterranean influences; gluten-free options; casual setting
Hurley’s Restaurant sits in downtown Yountville, at the center of Napa Valley. The dining room has a relaxed, casual vibe that suits both locals and visitors. A dedicated gluten-free section closely mirrors the main menu, and the front-of-house staff showed solid awareness of celiac disease and cross-contamination concerns. When our server wasn’t certain about a specific dish, she politely checked with the kitchen, and the team was attentive and accommodating throughout our meal.
On our visit, the kitchen handled a special request with ease: my son wanted a burger, and when a gluten-free bun wasn’t available, the staff offered to use one we’d brought along. The menu itself is broad, offering familiar comfort dishes alongside a few creative twists that provide variety for different tastes.
Items we sampled included an avocado and blood orange salad, a creamy vegetable soup, rosemary-and-maple roasted chicken served with roasted potatoes and green beans, a classic cheeseburger with fries, and a Moroccan-style vegetarian tagine. Each dish was well prepared and showcased thoughtful flavors and seasonality.
