Spicy Green Smoothie with a Dash of CBD Oil

As I shift toward cleaner, less processed foods, I’ll be sharing easy, healthy recipes you can actually use. I rarely post smoothies or salads because they can seem too simple, but after friends and family asked for inspiration (hi Jazz, and thanks Mom), I decided to share this one.

This isn’t a basic blend of bananas and dates. I’ve added turmeric and black pepper for colour, flavor depth, and potential health benefits. A small amount of chili adds a bright warmth that plays nicely with the sweet fruit and greens.

I usually keep a few hot peppers on hand, and here I used half a chili to keep the heat mild so most people can enjoy it. If you like it spicier, add more (seeds will increase the heat). The chili, turmeric, and black pepper complement the mango, banana, and spinach for a balanced, slightly spicy green smoothie.

One notable ingredient is CBD oil, extracted from cannabis. It doesn’t make you high. I’ve been using CBD oil for a few months and wanted to try it in a recipe. There’s ongoing discussion and research around CBD’s effects; I’m not an expert, so if you’re curious, look into reputable studies and resources. Also note that CBD oil isn’t legal everywhere — if you can’t obtain it or prefer not to use it, simply omit it.

If this flavor profile isn’t for you, no worries — I’ll be sharing more whole-food smoothie ideas soon. These recipes will focus on simple, nutritious ingredients and real-food flavor combinations.

Have a blessed day — let’s start blending!

One Love,

A.J.
